For Brice Cramer, coaching is more than teaching the game—it’s about building memories with his daughters and their teammates. A husband to Brittany and proud dad to Reese (10) and Claire (7), Brice balances family life, coaching, and a few personal passions—like golfing whenever he can, reading two books a week, and relaxing at the family cabin on Sybil Lake.

A 2005 graduate of Kindred, ND, Brice grew up immersed in sports—baseball, football, basketball, and track. He later studied exercise science at MSUM, where his passion for sports and player development deepened. Today, he lives in Fargo with Brittany, their daughters, and the family’s shepherd mix, Crosby.

As a coach, Brice’s philosophy is clear: player development always comes first. He and his staff focus on fundamentals, creating a competitive yet fun environment, and communicating consistently and positively with players. To Brice, patience is the most important trait a coach can have—because every athlete is different.

“Coaching is all about reading and reacting to each individual,” he explains. “It’s important to get to know the girls on both a personal and competitive level, and then tailor your approach while keeping the team’s goals in mind. It’s always a balancing act.”

Brice credits many of his own youth coaches from Kindred as his biggest influences. Their lessons and drills still stick with him decades later—and he finds joy in passing those same lessons on to the next generation.

When it comes to favorite memories, Brice doesn’t hesitate: coaching his daughter and her friends through a successful 10U season. For him, that experience captures the heart of coaching—teaching the game, sharing the fun, and creating lifelong memories with family and teammates.
