Savy Williams: Currently pitching for NDSU. Made a team high 29 appearances in the circle with a team high 19 starts … Posted a 5-12 record with one save in 104.1 innings, the most for the Bison … Logged a season high of 9.0 innings in a complete game 2-1 victory at UNLV (Apr. 6) ... Pitched five complete games ... Recorded one shutout against Marist (Mar. 16) ... Allowed 83 runs, 55 earned, posting a 3.69 ERA ... Allowed 143 hits against 450 batters faced, a .318 batting average against ... Recorded a WHIP of 1.82 ... Recorded a team high 56 strikeouts, including a season high of six vs. Marist (Mar. 16) ... Finished with a .939 fielding percentage ... Recorded two putouts ... Had 29 assists, including a season high of four at East Carolina (Feb. 13)
Vance Christianson: Christianson is currently the assistant softball coach at Valley City State University (VCSU). Prior to VCSU Vance served as the Interim head coach at Mayville State and was an assistant coach for the Comets for two years As interim head coach, Christianson coached four players to All-Conference honors and three players to the NSAA Mayville State where he served Gold Glove team. Under Christianson's direction, the 2022 Comet softball team earned a 3rd place finish in the NSAA Tournament, its strongest finish in over 20 seasons.
